Nashville, Tenn. (September 8, 2016) – Superstar duo Florida Georgia Line joins ABC’s The Chew to help kick off the show’s “September of Surprises” this Friday (9/9). The Diamond-certified duo put their cooking skills to the test when they hit the kitchen with host and Nashville native Carla Hall to make Music City’s signature dish and FGL’s on-the-road favorite, hot wings. Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard also serve up their dynamic personalities during a round of “Florida Georgia Dine,” where the pair exercises their taste buds to name popular foods from their home states (FL + GA) while blindfolded.

FGL has had a jam-packed summer with the release of DIG YOUR ROOTS on BMLG Records. Leading with the best-selling Country song of the year, “H.O.L.Y.” has dominated the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for 18 weeks. The impressive feat created a solid start for FGL’s third studio album, which marks their second consecutive debut at #1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart.

Since breaking out in 2012, FGL has solidified their place as one of the elite acts in Country music with prestigious honors from the AMA, ACM Awards, CMA Awards, Billboard Music Awards and CMT.  Their previous releases – 2X PLATINUM debut HERE’S TO THE GOOD TIMES and PLATINUM ANYTHING GOES – have attributed to sales surpassing 26 million tracks and more than 3.5 million albums worldwide. Their massive debut, “Cruise,” overtook the record for the longest #1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and is the only Country single to ever exceed sales of 10 million copies, earning RIAA DIAMOND-certification.

Notching over 1.5 million tickets sold in 2015 alone, FGL continues their successful streak with heavily sold-out crowds during their headline DIG YOUR ROOTS TOUR, further “cementing FGL as a bona fide headliner” (Oakland Press). Throughout the end of 2016, The Cadillac Three, Cole Swindell and Kane Brown will join the high-octane pair.
